The Roger Townsend Construction Company recently completed a large, comprehensive remodel of our home. Our remodel goal was to fully update our 20-year-old home making it lighter and brighter and to provide a panoramic view of Lake Texoma. Joy Townsend worked with us to create the entire project design including adding a room with two large glass slider doors, large windows, new lighter tile floors, quartzite countertops, and many more items. For our back yard the design included a covered outdoor kitchen and a beautiful tile and quartzite dining table and fire pit adding even more functional outdoor space to our home. With the design completed, Roger then led and managed the entire supply chain ordering, delivery and installation of the many construction products and delivered every part of our project on-time and within our agreed upon budget. FROM THE START, THEY PROVIDED A PERSONAL TOUCH.

We interviewed Roger and Joy based on a recommendation and after touring a house they were building. When we met them face-to-face at that house, there was no question we were in good hands. From the start, they provided a personal touch and kept open and regular communication, which was essential since we were moving from a distance and couldn't be on-site as often as we’d like. They sent us photos and even held meetings during off-hours, which was greatly appreciated.

Our project was scheduled for 12 months, but thanks to their efficiency, we moved in after just 10 months! Throughout the process, we learned that Joy and Roger have built a solid reputation in the community, earning the respect of their contractors. Every vendor and contractor we met spoke highly of them and consistently delivered quality work.

We had specific requests outside the usual suppliers, and Joy and Roger were open to working with new products, all of which turned out beautifully. We also struggled with selecting a few key items and leaned on Joy’s design expertise—her recommendation for our wood flooring, one of the largest decisions, turned out perfect, and we absolutely love it.

As someone who is highly organized, I appreciated how Roger and Joy embraced my spreadsheets and PowerPoints outlining our preferences.
